Message from the Chairs
We are very proud to announce that the 15th International Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Workshop (IHIWS) and Conference will be held in Brazil, between September 13th and 20th, 2008.
The Workshop will take place in Buzios, a very special and beautiful city near the sea, 100 miles from the city of Rio de Janeiro. The relaxing atmosphere of Buzios will be ideal for in depth discussions of all workshop projects.
At the end of three days of Workshop activities, we will have a one day break (September 17th), allowing a leisurely trip from Buzios to the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro, where the Conference will take place.
The Conference will be the forum for formal presentations of the results/conclusions of all 15IHIWS projects. In addition, a very special selection of topics on Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics will be covered through symposiums, conferences, educational and technical workshops, abstract presentations, and poster sessions. The Conference will also be an excellent opportunity to survey the latest technical developments and products from diverse companies in the field.
Be prepared for a very exciting scientific program and unforgettable social and cultural activities in Buzios and in Rio de Janeiro. Please set aside this important week: September 13th - 20th, 2008.
